My name is Natasha and I am of indian decent. I was born and raised South America, Guyana. Growing up in the countryside with fresh produce, fruit trees, poultry, livestock and other fine foods, I have developed a passion for quality cuisine. The organic food trend is nothing new to me, my mother, still tending to her garden the same way she did it so many years ago. She taught me from a young age how to plant, harvest, pickle, cure and smoke all Mother Nature has to offer. I didn't become a Farm to Table convert overnight; I have been part that trend from the day I was born! I learned to cook watching my mother whip up her delicious specialties from whatever ingredients she finds in the pantry. Since then, I developed this intense passion for cooking and to this day it is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing to do. My husband is Jamaican and we have two boys. Fast food is not a choice for us, especially our children. We dine out at a lot at fancy restaurants, then I would come home and re-create those meals based on the ingredients I tasted or smelled. Over the years so, I spend much of my time trying out new recipes simply because I get such pleasure from surprising and satisfying their taste buds.
